The Brief

The original brief was to launch the new Current Account based upon product features alone, which focused upon a very complex and staggered interest rate offer. We sat down with this progressive thinking client and suggested that we applied consumer psychology insight into the project. Following ‘Therapy’ and what fell out of our research, we took a completely different approach to the launch proposition. We also made the suggestion that the bank only say one single word “Thanks”, leaving their customers to do their talking for them. The results were a complete smashing of targets and a campaign that outperformed expectation at every level.
