Cheshire Fire and Rescue

The Brief

As part of a streamlining of services programme, the Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service were launching a web-based questionnaire aimed at low risk households. This was to be a genuine alternative to a home risk assessment, which would consequently be carried out for high risk situations only. The brief was to get as many people as possible to complete the online risk assessment questionnaire thereby reducing the number of more costly home visits.

The Results

The campaign proved highly successful in generating online assessments, which in turn enabled the Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service to focus on the most needy and vulnerable in the community.
